Daily Deity #215 Dragons Out of all the mythical creatures in the world dragons are probably the best known and most recognizable. They emerged from the myths of old acting as deadly antagonists to heroic figures or as a benevolent teacher to the world depending on where the myth originated from. Large reptilian creatures that could fly or breath fire or do neither, but still was a reptile of unbelievable size and a mouth filled with sword-like teeth can be found all over the world.
There are probably quite a few dragons that most people know and they are: the dragon that Beowulf fights, Fafnir (which Norse hero Sigurd faces), Ladon of Greek mythology that guards the golden apples of the Hesperides, Nidhoggr of Norse mythology that eats at the roots of Yggdrasil, and St. George's dragon. Hello, Deviantart. My name is Ethan. Please, call me Cloudcuckooman. Right now, I'm an independent artist who goes to college and works at a farm (no, really). I also take pictures from time to time. Mostly with my dad because he always encourages it (if only cellphones had good cameras). My favorite things to draw involve comedy, science fiction and fantasy. My favorite things to take photos of are trains, cars, toys and the occasional birds (my farm has ducks). I'll accept any criticism you give me. But saying "this looks like crap" doesn't count because how does that help? Anything else, I will gladly listen to and give a mature response in return.
Also, I do both traditional and digital art. So don't be too surprised if you find either or. Although, I'm still trying to learn how to draw with digital software so, again, any criticism you have will be appreciated.
I can't say I can agree on too many things. But I can promise that I'll stay mature about it. Causing fights is just a waste of time anyway. Believe me, I had to learn the hard way.
